BPO: Marketing & Business Development

"Virtual office" has its advantages.  No doubt.  There is a limitation though - a virtual office cannot perform marketing funnel and business development activities on-the-ground in Hong Kong.

This is where we step in with our BPO services.

Market Gaps & How We Fit In

We believe that certain Hong Kong market segments for Singapore SME goods and services are underserved, and this is due to market gaps in the marketing and business development funnel on-the-ground; and our objective is to help you bridge the gaps and tap this opportunity.

Our BPO team is based in our Hong Kong office Excel Power, and it has a track record of providing corporate services for more than a decade.  As part of our offerings, we provide virtual office services; and our BPO services are essentially an extension of our corporate and virtual office services.

Singapore SMEs are wary of opening a full "physical office" in Hong Kong for various reasons including Covid-19, budget and “test market first”: whatever they are, our BPO services are ideal for Singapore SMEs that require more than a “virtual” office, but not a full “physical office” in Hong Kong.

As a Singaporean majority-owned company with deep roots in Hong Kong, we have a good understanding of the Hong Kong market for Singapore goods and services, and how to connect you with your target customers in Hong Kong.

Face-to-face in Bustling Causeway Bay

We support you by being your face, eyes and ears on the ground in Hong Kong, and this is important for the Hong Kong market because you are not just a “faceless” email or phone number 2,600 km away.

Our office is at Leighton Centre, a “Grade A” office in prime Causeway Bay (like Orchard Road in Singapore), where we have been a long-term tenant, and other tenants include Uber, TVB (like MediaCorp in Singapore), Starbucks and Nike.

With our services, you have a venue, and no less in bustling Causeway Bay; and people (not an email, chat bot or phone) whom your prospects and customers can meet and talk to over a cup of coffee in Hong Kong.

Modular Approach: Mirror the Marketing Funnel

We have a flexible modular fee structure, which means that you only pay for what you need, and you are free to upsize or downsize accordingly at any time.

The starting base module is our virtual office module which is HK$15,000 per year or S$2,700 per year (S$1: HK$5.6).

Our services for add-on modules mirror the marketing and business development funnel from lead generation to sales, and our fees start at HK$300 (or S$54) per prospect at the enquiry stage.  More info on our modules here.

Our fee is structured to limit your risk and costs, and it comprises of three components as follows:

  • Fixed fee for our base module of virtual office module at HK$15,000 per year

  • Variable fee for each module based on a per lead or per customer basis e.g.  HK$300 for the "Prospect Enquiry" module

  • Commission as a % of sales or other KPIs e.g. contract value i.e. this is only payable when the sale or contract is concluded

Digital + On-the-Ground

On our advisory side, we are particularly strong in the digital, advertising and media industries, and we are therefore well placed to provide input on how best to connect with your target customers.

If you have not already done this, we strongly suggest that you establish a basic digital presence for your business in Singapore, and execute a strategy to drive and engage Hong Kong audience – this is the start of the marketing and business development funnel.

Once this is done, we work with you to integrate our BPO modules and extend your digital presence to an on-the-ground presence in Hong Kong across the entire marketing and business development funnel and if required, a customized Hong Kong digital presence.
